Halloween 22

 October 31st, 2022,
was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the learning of the English language by dancing to the music of Thriller, sharing candies, carving pumpkins, wearing costumes and enjoying the beautiful light of the day and the pupils' happiness.

The language of music and the music of languages are the means and ways of celebrating European Day of Languages this year. 

And again, both the pupils and teachers of our school enjoyed and participated, sharing the joy and messages of friendship and love. The world we live in is in dire need of them, so we hope that watching these videos will make you feel the same.

We did it our way, as always. And, once more, our students made us proud! We thank them all! 

Our second Hippo Olympiad!

 Hello!

I feel proud and so excited that I have the honour to announce the results of the HIPPO competition 22.
The preliminary round of the HIPPO competition was held at our school Branislav Nusic, village of Donja Trnava, on March the 11th. 
Our pupils showed and proved great love and enthusiasm for the English language. They put great effort into preparing for the competition. Even though the Friday was cold, and so was our classroom, their hearts were beating in the rhythm of the fire burning in an old furnace. Here are a few photos to show you the atmosphere. 

I am grateful to them all, they are all good children.
Not all of them managed to enter the following round of the competition, the semi-finals, but I know that they have learnt a lot along the way.

 Hello!
С великим задовољством објављујем да  је нашу школу у току дечје недеље посетио  председник учитељског друштва Станиша Костадиновић и том приликом уручио награду ученицима и наставницама енглеског језика који су учествовали на међународном такмичењу С енглеским језиком у Европу.  

Награду смо добили захваљујући интересовању и бројном одзиву ученика, тако да је наша школа прва у рангу сеоских школа.
Поносни смо на наше ученике и захвални учитељском друштву које је, као и претходних година , организовало ово такмичење у сарадњи са учитељским друштвом Бугарске, и тако пружило прилику да се и наши најмлађи опробају и провере своје знање. 

Радујемо се поновном учешћу и дружењу!

European Languages Day

We are celebrating languages remembering some past moments and performances.
Our former and present students gladly participated, and the audience enjoyed every second. I believe that would be the case this year, also.

Hippo results 2020-preliminary round

First of all, stay well and healthy! We shall prepare for the semi-finals, and then, for the finals, and we shall visit Italy, one day, soon. You are all great pupils, and I feel privileged to be your teacher, together with teacher Alex. We are both very satisfied with your results.

Остали су у врло јакој конкуренцији постигли изванредне резултате, и, морам да поновим, срећна сам што имамо тако добре ђаке, и пре свега, добре људе. HIPPO OLYMPIAD AT OUR SCHOOL!

Hippo competition has been held in our school for the first time, but I think it will become a tradition. Our pupils were motivated and have proven once again how great people they are. All of them! They inspire!

HAPPY NEW 2020

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We have celebrated the spirit of the new beginnings, hope, love, and faith in kindness and humanity, this year as well. But the cheerfulness of these merry holidays has been enhanced with the Russian Santa Claus and the exhibition of their tradition and culture. We have tasted delicious cookies prepared specially for this occasion by our dear colleague, a teacher of Russian language, Natasha Cakic. Thanks to her enthusiasm the mixture of the western and eastern cultures brought us joy and insight into the beauty of the world with all its differences and distances nicely put in the hall of our school somewhere in the southeast of Serbia. Thank you, our dear pupils, whose work has made this so grand, and thank you, Djuradj, for being the best Santa ever.
