             ЕВРОПСКИ  ДАН  ЈЕЗИКА, 26. СЕПТЕМБАР, 2014. ГОДИНЕ

Данас смо обележили Европски дан језика. Овај дан се обележава од 2001. године и преко 800 милиона Европљана различитих годишта стално уче нове језике. Трудимо се да свој матерњи језик говоримо што правилније, боље, али и да научимо понеки страни језик. У нашој школи учимо српски, енглески, француски и руски језик. Много тога наши ученици знају да  кажу на овим језицима.

Нема малих језика. Сви језици су велики ако на њима умемо да кажемо нешто лепо и некоме важно. Програм су започели ученици који су се смењивали говорећи по једну реченицу:

-          Du bist mein bester Freund (nemački),

-          You are my best friend (engleski) 

-          du er min beste venn (norveški),

-          eres mi mejor amigo (španski),

-          jesteś moim najlepszym przyjacielem (poljski),

-          tu es mon meilleur ami (француски),

-          ты мой лучший друг (руски),односно

                             ТИ СИ МОЈ НАЈБОЉИ ДРУГ.

Путовање Европом  и представљање  језика и културе неких земаља започео је један ђак  вртећи се полако са глобусом у рукама док га   водитељ није зауставио у једном тренутку  рекавши која се земља представља.Једна за другом,представљале су се Француска,Норвешка,Енглеска,Русија,Грчка и на крају Србија.Свака земља имала је видео клип праћен пригодном музиком и коментарима.Уживали смо у глуми,песми,рецитовању и перформансу наших ученика.Уз громогласан аплауз ,заказали смо пропутовање и следеће године.

Welcome to the 4th annual spelling competition final!  We have enjoyed so far in playing with letters and words, and we certainly hope that you'll enjoy in today's game as well. Some of us have participated and others have supported friends and contestants, but what's most important we have managed to motivate and arise interest in many pupils who thus discovered the beauty of learning languages. Why is it so important you may wonder. Well, sounds and letters make words, words make sentences and sentences should be used to express truth. Without the truth everything loses its meaning and we are the generations who want to find and keep the meaning. So enjoy in this game again and discover the meaning....  

·          Пошто је такмичење у спеловању  постало традиција, тако је и ове године,19.маја,у нашој школи  оно одржано по четврти пут. Било је пуно такмичара, по два из сваког одељења,публика је навијала, и после равноправне и дуге борбе прво место освојила је Јована Стојановић,ученица 6-1. Друго место је освојила Ивона Митић, такође ученица 6-1, а треће место Милица Мирић,одељење 7-1.  Такмичење је водила Анћела Јовановић, ученица 8-2, а у жирију су биле наставнице енглеског језика Александра Стевић и Данијела Јокић, као и Андрија Ранђеловић, ученик 8-1. Преносимо вам део атмосфере. Учесницима и победницима обезбедили смо пригодне поклоне.Сви учесници су добили онолико бонбона колико су поена освојили,књига на енглеском језику припала је Јовани,блок са мотивима енглеске заставе Ивони а магнетић са сликом Биг Бена Милици. Водитељки и почасном члану жирија припала је књига из колекције Пингвинових ридера.До следећег такмичења- KEEP SPELLING!

Милош и Јана су двоје веома талентованих ученика другог разреда. Имају и смисла за глуму, а тек ће нам показати све своје вештине и даровитости. Сем њих и други ученици су данас показали и вољу и умеће, али смо изабрали њих двоје као представнике, јер су имали и најбољи изговор, а следећом приликом биће простора за све! 

Поздрав и наставите да волите и енглески и српски језик, и све језике којима људи говоре оно што мисле и осећају, и зато је сваки вредан пажње и очувања.

Веома често су ми родитељи постављали питање како могу да помогну свом детету у учењу енглеског језика, и мада сам им увек говорила да је сасвим довољно да провере свеске, да ли је урађен домаћи и саслушају их док им читају, свесна сам да је ипак код већине остала та потреба да се и сами укључе и олакшају деци.

Овом приликом се захваљујем свима који су увек спремни да помогну, а следи линк који може да буде користан пре свега ђацима који уче по програму који се примењује у нижим разредима, тј. од 1. до 4. Ту су и приче и песме и материјал за преузимање. УЧИМО ЗАЈЕДНО Напомињем да су 3, 4, 5 и 6 ознаке уџбеника који се употребљавају у 5., 6., 7. и 8. разреду, али не у нашој школи.

Има томе већ доста времена, ако не и више, како смо ја и моја колегиница присуствовале конференцији за нас teacher-e и биле заиста одушевљене свим што смо чуле и виделе, али нисмо то објавиле на овом нашем блогу, а јесте за објављивање, и сада ево извештаја са тог нашег кратког али упечатљивог путешествија.

ИЗВЕШТАЈ О КОНФЕРЕНЦИЈИ

У великој дворани Сава Центра у Београду, 9.новембра, одржана је конференција под називом Oxford Day у организацији издавачке куће  The English Book.

За професоре из Ниша превоз је био организован до Сава Центра и назад. Пред препуном двораном Сава Центра представили су се професори David Crystal, AdrianTennant, Lindsay Clandfield и Jan Blake. Својом харизмом и начином излагања, често прекидани бурним аплаузом, успели су да учине овај дан посебним. У холу је постављена продајна изложба уџбеника, речника, ридера, часописа где нико није одолео, а да не пронађе понешто за себе. По завршетку предавања, на магично путовање кроз шездесете и музику Битлса водила нас је група The Bestbeat која и визуелно и вокално подсећа на Битлсе. Уз звуке незаборавних мелодија заказали смо следећи сусрет у мају идуће године.

Овај снимак је јако лош али представља какво такво подсећање на атмосферу коју су направили ови наши Битлси. Невероватни су и заиста звуче феноменално. Верујте ми на реч. А на следећем посту ћемо и о правим Beatles-има.

Предавање које је одржао Дејвид Кристал је такође за памћење. Његова прича о енглеским језицима је целу салу Сава центра испунила тишином, предавач нам је држао пажњу пуна два сата. Ово је само део који треба да покаже да је и данас живу реч могуће употребити уколико постоји култура говорништва. Треба неговати усмено приповедање, а то нам је касније још живописније доказала приповедач, storyteller, Lindsay Clandfield, чију вештину нисам снимила, јер просто нисам могла да престанем да је слушам заједно са још 1300 људи у сали који су били потпуно увучени у њене приче. Били смо деца окупљена око ватре у некој пећини, а слике нису биле на екрану, већ у нашим главама и свако је имао свој филм, али заједничку поруку.   

     

У суботу 22.2. 2014. године одржано је општинско такмичење из енглеског језика на којем су и наши ђаци имали прилику да покажу своје знање.
И... није било лоше, иако нисмо освојили ниједно место, нисмо се ни обрукали. Сигурно да је могло и боље, али ћемо анализу оставити за школу. У сваком случају хвала вам на учешћу и надам се да ћете стечена знања употребити.
Од укупно 40 поена, 32 је било минимум за пролаз, а наши такмичари су освојили 30, Христина Живадиновић, 29, Сања Милошевић и 28, Филип Антић.
А ево и теста....

Драги такмичари! имате велике шансе, само  прионите на посао. Остало је још свега три дана до такмичења. На страници ask & answer имате још један линк са вежбањима, па ако сте урадили све тестове и задатке око којих смо се договорили урадите и ово. Поздрав и нашем болесном другару, надам се да је боље!

May all your days be special!

A special day! Yes, it is! And it was very special yesterday, and the day before, and almost two months ago, and every day in our lives and our work. Why?Well, for many reasons which make us feel so proud and strong and full of love. 

These reasons are found in those faces of children who play and sing and learn with joy, in the faces of teachers who teach them that there are valuables in life more important than any material thing. And what a radiant smile is on their faces when they feel that children have understood their message and that they are going to carry it in their heart.

Times are hard, we often sense the presence of many bad things. Our children feel and experience hardships and burden of the adults. Sometimes we all think that we'll break into pieces and we do! But then something wondrous happens... We heal, and these broken parts come together to form a new being, a new self and we carry on. Sometimes the new self is not so perfect, not even good, but the essence remains and it surfaces sooner or later. Teachers have to make an example of that recreation all the time and it is so hard, incredibly hard, but many succeed. 

I have the privilege of working in a village school. What is more important I have the privilege of working for so many years with some incredible people. Two of them are my dear friends and teachers I admire, personalities with integrity and sensibility. 

Aleksandra Stevic, the teacher of English language, made yesterday a special day by giving us a performance of children's true and honest feeling of love in her class. We witnessed such joy and happiness in learning a foreign language, english language, and learning about Valentine that we had to participate. The pupils were so involved and absorbed by the theme and activities and I'm sure they will never forget any of it. She passed on the message!

Olivera Stankovic, the teacher of Serbian language and literature had a very special class on the theme of holocaust and Ana Frank's life and tragedy was brought to understanding to many thirteen year olds who had learnt more about empathy and sympathy for others. She passed on the message! 

And they do it all the time, almost sixteen years!

Nothing can be compared with that! It is eternal and indestrusctible. The true values of life: family, friendship, honor and honesty all shaped by love!

Tomorrow is Saint Sava's day! The prince and the saint who dedicated his life to serve God and his people instead of political power and wealth! This is why his name and his deed lives and is celebrated through centuries...

Saint Sava (Serbian: Свети Сава, Sveti Sava, pronounced [sʋɛ̂ːtiː sǎːʋa], also Saint Sabbas; 1174 – 14 January 1236) was aSerbian prince and Orthodox monk, the first Archbishop of the autocephalous Serbian Church, the founder of Serbian law andliterature, and a diplomat. Sava was born Rastko Nemanjić (Растко Немањић, pronounced [râstkɔ nɛ̌maɲitɕ]), the youngest son ofSerbian Grand Prince Stefan Nemanja (founder of the Nemanjić dynasty), and ruled the appanage of Hum briefly in 1190–1192. Hebecame a monk in his youth, receiving the monastic name Sava (Sabbas), subsequently founding the monasteries of Hilandar onMount Athos, and Žiča. In 1219 he was recognized as the first Archbishop of Serbs, by the Patriarch of Constantinople, and in the same year he authored the oldest known constitution of Serbia, Zakonopravilo, thus securing full independence; both religious and political. Sava heavily influenced Serbian medieval literature.He is widely considered as one of the most important figures of Serbian history, and is canonized and venerated by the Serbian Orthodox Church, as its founder, on January 27 [O.S. January 14]. His life and has been interpreted in many artistic works from theMiddle Ages to modern times. He is the patron saint of Serbian schools and schoolchildren.
The Cathedral of Saint Sava in Belgrade is dedicated to him, it was built on the scene where the Ottoman Turks allegedly burnt his remains in the 16th century, following an uprising in which the Serbs used icon depictions of Sava as their war flags; the cathedral is currently the largest Eastern Christian church building in the world.

there are a lot of stories about his life, a lot of wisdom that he passed on. It was such a great personality that despite of many attempts to destroy his legacy and the memory of his name it was preserved in our nation. One of his messages which is always in my mind, probably because I am the teacher of language, is to keep the mother tongue. Territories may be lost and regained, but if one word of your native language is lost it cannot be restored. I like the differences! I appreciate the diversity of languages! I believe that the beauty of the world lies in those differences among us! So we have to accept them, understand and preserve them because that's what we are intended to do. That's what Saint Sava presents, that peace among different people, living different lives, speaking different languages and without being afraid of each other.


But since he is the patron of Serbian schools and hence teachers and pupils, I hereby wish you all  knowledge and wisdom, patience and tolerance, friendship and love through your hard times at school and through all your life!
